How Roomzz works

Every coin and NFT collection has a 3D club. Walk in.

What Roomzz is

Roomzz is a set of 3D clubs at roomzz.io. Each club belongs to one token or one NFT collection. You get an avatar, meet the other holders in one hall, and watch the chart and live trades on the wall.

There are two kinds of club: token clubs and NFT clubs. The wall shows the chart and live trades for a token club. Around it there is a chat, a bar paid in ETH, and for token clubs a swap box.

How to enter a club

Pick a club on the home page, through the Token clubs or NFT clubs doors, or paste a contract address. Then choose how to come in.

  • Watch as a guest. No wallet needed. You can read the chat, see the chart and trades on the wall, and see the hall. To chat, order or take any action, connect a wallet.
  • Walk in with a wallet. Connect a wallet on Base or Robinhood Chain and sign one message. There is no email or social login.
  • Get a place. The hall has places for general, VIP and team. If your group is full you watch from a queue and can read the chat, then write when you are in.

How a club opens

A token club opens by itself when enough different wallets hold the token. Nobody applies. The first coin to reach the holder count opens its club. A club that has been quiet is archived and wakes when someone walks in.

An NFT club exists for a collection the Roomzz team has added. Holder-opened NFT clubs from a kiosk are coming soon.

What is inside a club

Each club is one hall with the same few things in it.

  • The wall. The chart and live trades for a token club, and a video that plays in sync for everyone. An NFT club can show poster tokens and a live feed of sales.
  • Chat. Plain text, public to everyone in your hall. Reply, react, mention, edit or delete your own messages. Links are limited to DJs, mods and the admin.
  • The bar. Order a drink for yourself or gift one to someone in your hall, or tip the bartender, the doorman or the DJ. Orders are priced in US dollars and paid in ETH. The club shows how each order is split.
  • Swap. Token clubs have a swap box on Base and Robinhood Chain. It shows the fee, the price impact and the slippage before you send. NFT clubs have no swap box.
  • The crew. The admin runs the club. Mods can kick, mute and ban wallets of a lower rank and delete messages. DJs control the video.

Wallet safety

Signing in is one signature. It is a sign-in message in the EIP-4361 format (Sign-In With Ethereum). The message names the site, the network and a one-time nonce from the server. The nonce works once and expires within minutes. The server accepts the message only for the allowed Roomzz sites.

What the signature does: it proves you control the wallet. The server checks it and starts a session tied to your wallet address. A session lasts a day by default. Your browser keeps the session in session storage, which belongs to the browser tab, and signing out clears it.

What the signature never does: it is not a transaction. It sends no transaction, costs no gas, gives no token approval and moves no funds. The message says so in your wallet. The wording in the message may still show an older name from before Roomzz had its own site.

  • Money moves only when you send a separate transaction yourself: a bar order, a tip or a swap. Each one opens in your wallet for you to confirm.
  • Selling a token in the swap box asks for an approval of exactly the amount being sold, never an unlimited one. That is a separate wallet confirmation from the sign-in.
  • Read what your wallet shows before you confirm. A sign-in message names no amount. A transaction does.
